Gulsamber Chitrali Spring Flower 2012 @ Shubinak
Indigenous to Chitral, Gulsamber is the name of a sweet spring flower. This tunic has been designed with a very traditional do suthi (cross stitch) embroidery patch done in customary Chitrali colors which rests on the shoulder and follows ...the elbow. An open band collar with a decorative front placket sporting double buttons; sleeve cuffs and low hanging drawstring belt are all made from striped fabric. The entire A-line garment boasts contrast top stitching; has functional sleeves with tabs and buttons and a front patch pocket which complement the unique design detail of gathers at the shoulders and on the sleeves. The fabric is a unique cotton woven in a herringbone design.
