MAK or Mateen A Khan Menswear Fashion Designer at Karachi Fashion Week 2011-12

Mateen A. Khan is a fashion graduate from the Harrods School of Applied and Allied Sciences where he received a Bachelors degree in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising Management. He began his fashion career while a fashion design student at AIFD in 2000.
After spending six successful years in the US, Mateen returned to Pakistan and launched the M.A.K label in 2009, and opened a studio outlet in Zamzama, Karachi.
The M.A.K brand of menswear is based on creativity, high-quality and individual styling with an understanding of the needs of high-end clients. M.A.K menswear is extremely wearable and is a valued addition to any gentleman’s fastidious wardrobe. M.A.K's vision is to create designs that are trendy yet have a feeling of sophistication about them, using only the finest fabrics and with an attention to detailing.
The KFW 2011 collection is inspired by the fashion of the 70’s & 80’s juxtaposed with Moghul-era motifs. M.A.K has ventured on a seasonal men’s line of individualistic Safari suits in bold and neutral colours melded with complementing patterns; a unique point of view that has never been explored before to such an extent.
